Refugees and migrants, -from countries like Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran among others- coming from the Greek islands everyday find a temporary shelter at Victoria Square in downtown Athens. After disembarking at the port of Piraeus they arrive via subway at the square, where they stay until they find money and papers to continue their journey to central and northern Europe.
